C. B. "Scott" Jones (1928β2023) was a retired U.S. Navy Commander, intelligence officer, and prominent figure in ufology and parapsychology. Born in Emporia, Kansas, he served for 30 years, including combat tours as a jet fighter pilot in the Korean War (included an encounter with a saucer ufo that slowed time down during a dogfight) and 15 years in Naval Intelligence, where he briefed the Presidentβs Scientific Advisory Committee.
After retiring from the Navy in the mid-1970s, Jones transitioned into research on anomalous phenomena. He served as Special Assistant to Senator Claiborne Pell (1985β1991), tasked with investigating consciousness research in the USSR and China. During this period, he co-founded the Human Potential Foundation (1989) with Pell, which conducted research on interspecies communication and survival. He also founded the Center for Applied Anomalous Phenomena (1985) and later the Peace and Emergency Action Coalition for Earth (PEACE) and later Peaceroom and peaceroom.com.
Jones held leadership roles in several organizations, including President of the American Society for Psychical Research and Special Consultant for MUFON. He maintained extensive connections with figures such as Carol Rosin, Rima Laibow, and Prince Hans-Adam of Liechtenstein, and his papers are archived at the University of Colorado Boulder. He passed away on January 16, 2023.
Scott was also an experiencer that loved telling stories of his encounters with the phenomenon during military exercises and otherwise. He also loved being a part of the community of believers, top thinkers and researchers in the field while it lasted.
This site is dedicated to the release of some of Scott's unpublished personal files and recordings that could serve as minor puzzle pieces for UFO disclosure history researchers. The main focus being on his involvement with the Aviary and how bird names were used as tools of pride and confusion, the personnel of the Human Potential Foundation and their encounters with unknown or secret forces, documentation of the famous UFO roundtable meeting at Laurance Rockefeller's JY Ranch in 1993, and Scott's interactions with a famous disruptor of John Mack's research group.
